Works fine in my Fuji S5 August 23, 2010 David Eaton (Texas) Even though the Fuji does not officially support an 8 Gb card, I had tried a SanDisk from a friend. Works as expected and is much faster than my old 30Mb/sec cards.
I am a nature and landscape photographer, so speed is not a big issue. There are much faster cards on the market, albeit at a much higher price.
Good performance for the money!.
Sandisk 8GB Extreme CF memory card great advancement August 1, 2010 D. G. Pierce (Loveland, CO United States) Sure beats my 2GB card. When I first got my new camera a couple of years ago, the experts were saying that the 4GB cards were giving people trouble. Now there's an 8GB that works flawlessly...but I can't speak for the 16GB card I saw recently. Too expensive for my blood...or wallet.
Do not buy July 16, 2010 Disgruntled 0 out of 7 found this review helpful
The product was OK but the supplier claimed the package quantity had been changed from 1 to 2 forcing me to purchase two expensive memory cards. When I received the items they were not two items in one package, they were individually packaged, This was obviously a lie and a way of forcing Amazon customers to buy more than needed.
The supplier included a notice in the package that basically advised it would be difficult to return the item. I actually made a mistake and the 8gb memory card was to large for my camera since it cannot be formatted FAT 16 and was unable to return the item. I found this independent supplier not up to Amazon's usual high standards and will never again purchase anything from an independent seller working through Amazon. I have always been impressed with Amazon's customer friedly return policy but this independant supplier should be dropped by Amazon!
Cant get better then that. July 4, 2010 Mikhail Got this CF within 4days of purchase. Works as advertised. If you like sports action photagraphy, this is your memory to buy.
And in general very good product. This is what big boys are using on their Pro DSLR's
Great Value July 3, 2010 A. Ference (Weaver, AL) So far this card has worked perfectly. I debated about getting the 90MB/s card but after researching them found that the extra cost really wouldn't be worth it for me.
